Farmer’s Choice – Extra Fancy
Extra Fancy is the largest coffee bean grown. It makes up a large percentage of the crop. Because the beans are consistently the same size, we are able to produce a very even roast . Our Extra Fancy coffee has a consistent smooth body, with hints of Carmel, possibly more fruity than Peaberry. Its earthy and leaves an amazing aftertaste that lasts for a long time.
Farmer’s Choice – Chateau
Chateau is a special mix of our Peaberry, Extra Fancy, Fancy and Prime to produce a smooth bouquet of flavors from all the different bean sizes. It jumps with flavor, leaving an inquiring Carmel aftertaste with full bodied hints of fruit. Our medium dark roast is preferred by Kona coffee connoisseurs. Roasted just past the first crack, the beans are a chocolate brown matte finish with very little oil on the surface. The unique character of Kona coffee comes through best with a lighter roast, enhancing the delicate fruity taste that makes Kona coffee so special.
Farmer’s Choice – Peaberry
Peaberry is found in less than 5% of the our total crop. With its extra smooth taste, this small round bean is perceived Internationally as the best of the best. Because of its rarity, we only have a limited supply and frequently run out. Peaberry, until recently, was thought to be a defect in coffee. In the last 30 years it has become the crème de la crème for coffee connoisseurs. It’s an extremely smooth, full bodied coffee with hints of Carmel, citrus, cherry and other fruity notes.
For those that prefer ground coffee, purchase our premium mix of ground organic beans. Take in the smooth bouquet of flavors from all of our different bean sizes.
